Whether it’s moments that make him proud, sources of inspiration, or what makes his work environment special, the same terms keep coming up for Enric: team, people and colleagues. These terms clearly show what is especially important to Enric in his role as Country Manager of the Business Unit Spain. It is the relationships with colleagues, leading the team, and interacting with people that matter most. All these individuals have taught Enric a great deal since his very first day at work and continue to give him the opportunity to constantly improve.
That is why he felt particularly proud when the 26-member team gathered for the Christmas dinner last year in Barcelona. During the dinner, Enric loved seeing everyone chatting and sharing many stories from a successful year full of hard work. According to Enric, there were some colleagues in 2025 who, even without holding a big title, led by example in their areas and truly made a difference in how the team worked. “Their influence and their ability to bring people together inspire me to be an even better leader and teammate, every single day,” Enric explains.
Since 2023, Enric has been the Country Manager of the Business Unit Spain. His role is to lead and manage the business unit so that the premium mountain sports brands of the Oberalp Group are well positioned in the Iberian market and reach the right communities. At the same time, the Business Unit Spain must remain aligned with the strategy of the Oberalp parent company in order to achieve sustainable growth and positive results. When making important decisions, Enric deliberately takes the time to evaluate different options and ask questions to fully understand different perspectives. His responsibilities repeatedly present him with new challenges, bringing both dynamism and motivation. “There is no typical day for me, and I really like that,” he emphasizes. Equally important to Enric is that he can identify with the different brands of Oberalp. He shows great passion for brands that have strong values and a story, and that continue to evolve to meet real needs.

Through his close connection to the brands, Enric is able to consistently give his best while remaining authentic. He feels this most strongly when working on projects and completely losing track of time. His natural curiosity drives him to try unfamiliar things and to learn something new. Working in the team is especially enjoyable for Enric, thanks to the shared support and collective success. Friends describe him as a diplomat who sees both sides of a situation and helps find common ground in challenging circumstances.
Enric demonstrated remarkable perseverance and adaptability when, a few years ago, he went to Canada as an expat for two years. During this time, he successfully oversaw the transition of a distribution company into a subsidiary. In this entirely new environment, he led a Canadian team through uncertain times while simultaneously adapting to the new culture. His family also established themselves in the new setting without any existing connections.
Alongside professional challenges, it is always very important to Enric to give his family – his wife, their two daughters, their son, and, more recently, their new puppy – sufficient attention and time. For him, success also means maintaining a balanced life between work and family. “As my family has grown, I have come to understand the importance of balance, priorities, and focusing on what truly matters,” Enric says.
Enric loves to spend his free time outdoors, skiing, hiking, and camping in his motorhome with his family or friends, while enjoying the discovery of new places. He is also an avid reader and enjoys and enjoys brewing craft beer in a garage as a hobby.
